Geotechnical instrumentation is a process that is carried out for collecting data that helps engineers in each stage of a project. Its applications include site investigations, design verification, construction control, quality control, safety, legal protection, performance, critical parameters, measurement of environmental conditions and many more.
Each one of us knows that every project encompasses a certain set of critical parameters. The designer must need to know those parameters and then choose instruments to measure them.
